Béatrice Eastham, founder of the consulting firm Green Événements, works with the UN towards eco-friendly events

Béatrice EasthamIn 1975, the UN launched the Mediterranean Action Plan (PAM aiming to establish specific tools and shared action items promoting the protection of the Mediterranean Bay. Following the establishment of this program, several meetings have been held each year between representatives from centers of regional activity. With its objective to integrate key elements of sustainable development into the organization of these meetings, as well as foreseeing steps towards ISO 20121 Standard accreditation, PAM called on Béatrice Eastham, founder of the consulting firm Green Evénements, to partner with representatives from regional centers.

The IFES 2017 congress: In France and responsible !

June 2017 brings with it the annual IFES congress, bringing together the International Federation of Events Services, includingIFES the biggest IFES service providers in the industry. Known as the largest meeting in the world of professionals in the events industry, the congress will be held this year in France, at Belambra (Grand-Motte). It will be a wonderful opportunity to bring RSE and sustainable development to center stage. UNIMEV will make its Calculator of Global Performance of Events at the disposition of organizers  along with other tools allowing for the evaluation of the impact and consequences of events organized in France. Green Événements selected for the G20 of Young Entrepreneurs 2016

Last year, our firm was selected to represent France in Beijing as part of the G20YEA, under the theme “Disruptive Innovation, Smart Entrepreneurship”. A delegation of 32 young entrepreneurs were chosen to represent professionals in the events industry in France, who work with businesses towards the goal of implementing responsible and durable strategies. Accompanied by 9 other French female entrepreneurs, Béatrice Eastham, founder of the consulting firm Green Événements, was selected as a member of the delegation.
